Job Requirements:
1.Minimum 3 years of FEA experience in stress and modal analysis (CosmosWorks/Solidworks Simulation Premium preferred).
2.3D CAD solid modeling experience (Solidworks preferred).
3.Strong background in engineering mechanics, engineering materials, mechanical vibration, fatigue and fracture.
4.Practical knowledge of automotive engine related products.
5.B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M. Sc. preferred) or equivalent.
6.Good English in reading and written, and reasonable English skills in verbal communication.
Main Responsibility:
1.Generate FE analysis plans and collect the information (inputs) related to FEA.
2.Construct FEA models including minor cleaning of CAD models.
3.Define material properties & load/boundary conditions for FE Analysis and perform FE simulation.
4.Verify and validate FEA results with physical experimental results and field data.
5.Publish FEA reports with recommendations for design improvements and optimization.
6.Learn and utilize new FEA/CAE techniques to improve efficiency and for new FE applications.
7.Maintain quality standards.
8.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Daily Duties:
1.Obtain FEA task information according to ETM system.
2.Communication with design and application engineers to confirm the problems to be solved and get necessary information needed.
3.Implement FEA work and feedback the results to the design engineers to help design improvements or optimization.
4.Publish FEA reports for further application.
5.Other DV/PV related technical consultation.
