Job purpose:
The jobholder is responsible for daily support and maintenance in the
responsible area. He / She provides technical support in all information
technology and related activities to local DC and branch offices.
Decision making/freedom to act:
Prime: All matters related to local IT team daily management, and local IT projects.
Shared: Regional IT projects.
Contributory: Advice to other strategy function departments.
Key responsibilities:
Liaise with local vendors and users to ensure deliverables.
Maintain and Enforce regional IT Policy.
Provide first level on-site IT support to users.
Provide information and reports to IT Manager, China.
Key accountabilities:
Ensure service reliability and stability for the infrastructure to meet the defined service levels.
Provide on-site support should there be any queries from users.
Working Relationships:
Internal: Maintain internal contacts with IT team, local management team and other computer users.
External: Maintain external contacts with IT products/service providers.
Skills:
Good communication skills.
Can translate technology-speak into everyday language.
Have good problme solving skills in infrastructure and office tools.
Demonstrate good team building skills.
Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
Make recommendation to office infrastructure where necessary.
Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin, sufficient English for basic communications.
Experience:
At least 5 years of IT experience in IT adminstrations and support.
Knowedge in Mac products is preferred.
Qualifications:
Higher Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
Professional qualification is a plus.
